I’m a metallurgist and a plasma techologist who loves to write. I have been writing for many years now, about a diverse range of topics. I
write technical articles on Surface Engineering and Surface Modification technologies including Plasma Nitriding.

I make and sell PN systems along with application technology. Exported one to Sunhwei Surface Technology, Tai Chung, Taiwan, about  2 years ago… I provide technical consultancy and support to development of equipment and industrial application in this field.

I am a plasma technology consultant to some of the leaders in automotive business in India e.g. Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co.P.Ltd.-their Aerospace Division, Vikhrooli, Mumbabi,  Bajaj Auto Ltd., Akurdi, Pune and Bharat Forge Ltd., Mundhwa, Pune.
Lately I have been focusing on Advanced Training in selected topics like Fundamentals of Industrial Metallurgy, Heat Treatment, Advanced Surface Engg. etc. I have carried out very successful In-House Workshops on these topics at:
1. Bharat Forge Ltd., Pune -4 day workshop
2. Bajaj Auto Ltd., Pune – 2 day workshop
3. Manugraph India Ltd., Kolhapur – 3 day workshop twice.
4. Indian Institute of Technology, Powai, Mumbai -3 day workshop.

I have written the first-ever online course on Plasma Nitriding, available with www dot redvector dot com, Tampa FL, US. It has been selling for four years now, and I will soon write Level Two course. A special course on Materials Selection in the pipeline too.
I  am  an  active member of the Ryze business networking community with several of its writers forums. I am also active at www.gather.com, another forum for writers -check my work at www.maxbabi.gather.com please.

I also contribute insightful articles to a number of Jazz portals. I review Jazz music CD’s from around the world. I have done numerous jazz and blues workshops at Bombay -and will be doing so at other cities. It is heartening to see a revival of interest in funky jazz ! I have been instrumental in getting some international jazz stars to play at Bombay and Pune, and many more may visit India….
